Feeling Nervous On The Stage? Congratulations!!!

by | Aug 17, 2020 | Public Speaking | 12 comments

We have seen so many people, they don’t go on the stage just because they feel nervous.

They believe that if they go on the stage, they will look very nervous, they will feel very nervous.

Only Humans Can Feel Nervous

You know what, if you are feeling nervous on the stage, it means only one thing. You are a human being.

Yes.

Only humans feel nervous, robots machines, they don’t feel nervous.

According to Mark Twain, the legend, he says there are only two types of speakers, nervous speakers and liars.

Haven’t you seen Sachin Tendulkar, the God of cricket, even after playing huge amounts of cricket, whenever he goes on the pitch, initial few balls, even he is nervous.

Feeling nervous on the stage is absolutely natural.

Don’t worry. Of course, there are techniques of looking confident on the stage.

There are techniques of concealing your nervousness, hiding your nervousness, masking your nervousness.

You can easily learn these techniques but the first thing that you have to accept is if you are feeling nervous on the stage it’s absolutely okay. It’s very natural.

If you are not feeling nervous on the stage, then there is a problem, that is very unnatural.

So, don’t worry about nervousness.

Don’t avoid the stage because if you want to be a leader in your life, you have to separate yourself from the crowd, stand alone and speak.

If you like this tip, share with your family and friends and with all those who want to become a leader in their life.

This is Praveen Wadalkar signing out until we meet again with a new tip.

You want to perform. Interest in a particular thing causes stress, anxiety and tention. That causes problem. Develop Eustress, not distress. It is skill to develop.
