How To Not Get Bored Easily

by | Aug 1, 2020 | Public Speaking | 19 comments

Hi guys. Now, this is my last video from this four days, unplanned solo travel. And I’ve enjoyed it totally and if you’re thinking that I’m going to say that I’m going to miss this and from tomorrow, my office will start and all that same routine. I’m not going to say that.

It was what I believe, the easiest way to stay happy is to appreciate, enjoy what you have right now in your hand. Now, right now what I have in my hand is this small fountain with trees, the greenery, cool water, I’m enjoying that.

Living In The Moment

And tomorrow when I go to office, where I will have my assignments, work responsibilities, in my hand, I will equally enjoy that and will do that equally passionately, the way I’m doing right now. And those are the easiest to be, to stay happy and whatever you have in your hands, do it passionately, enjoy that. Being that, just that moment, appreciate what you have right now in your life.

Okay. But having said all this, four days were awesome. I met so many friends, I’ve visited so many beaches, so many places and I think these four days have helped me to break the monotony of my life. Now look deep in your life. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. If your life is non monotonous, congratulations.

Break The Monotony

But if it is what you are doing to break the monotony of your life, you can do anything. Whatever you love apart from your daily work schedule, reading, running any sports, anything. Whatever you want to love or you want to do solo travel like this, unplanned solo travel full of excitement. You don’t know when you will be or where you will be at the next 2 hours. You want to do that? Okay. You’re saying that you don’t have time for that. Right? Four days include Saturday, Sunday, two days.

So, I was saying that you don’t get two days leave. Are you saying that? We don’t have money for this? How much I spend 350 rupees per day. 150 rupees for stay and 150 rupees for two meals. Still I have additional 50 rupees and if you’re coming to nature like this 350 is enough. So, four days 350, it’ll be how much 1400 plus 1000 with train travel 2,400. Or you’re saying that you don’t have 2,400 or you’re saying that your loved ones will not allow.

Individualism Matters Too

Understand the most important thing. We all are living in families. And we all have our own roles in families, husband, wife, son, daughter, father, mother, sister, brother. We all love each other but at the end of the day, the most important thing is first you are an individual. It’s your responsibility to explore that individualism first.

Respect that individualism first, you are an individual first, then anything else. And I know you’re loved and will not do anything and you will not say anything to your loved one if they want to explore their individualism and they want to do something for them, something which will make them happy, like solo trips, make me happy. I’m exploring it. Maybe something else to make you happy, explore that, but that breaks the monotony of your life because monotony is the biggest enemy of humankind.

What you’re doing to break monotony in your life?

Yes. I do some drawing. Even during my college exam times or now during strenuous days , I just puck a pen or pencil, to draw from a picture.. it is really relieving. I do tell my daughter to try something like that. Next yoga, bit of good talks, music or else like to walk.
Your writings are nice and I prefer to get back to readings for pleasure and developments.
