Public speaking is the best way to experience that how you feel, when you are not supported by anyone.
I think this is a skill where you have to separate yourself from the crowd, you have a standalone and I’m very careful using this word ‘alone’.
So unlike other skills, you might have seen someone singing and if suddenly that person forgets, you’ll see a core singer picks up from there. A core dancer picks up from there. If they’re not swimming properly, someone will help you to swim.
But public speaking is the only skill, that the moment someone is helping you and that is not public speaking then it becomes something else. It becomes conversation. It’s not public speaking.
Public speaking is when you separate yourself from the crowd and stand alone and you feel that I’m not supported now, I have to do everything on my own. If you really want to know how you will feel when you are not-supported, start learning public speaking.
Too Short to meet my thirst.
If someone wants to excel in Public Speaking, then one should have a good mentor.Even Sachin Tendulkar had a mentor, without which he would not have reached this level. There should not be any short cuts,no mobile phones,no Zoom,it should be one on one basis. You remember what Pravin Sir said, only babies are born without skills, all the rest grow only through training.
