Trainers Sharing Revenue Screenshots
Nowadays I’m observing trainers, especially those who have e-learning business model, they’re sharing their financial reports or financial numbers with people to encourage them, to inspire them, to start e-learning business.
From one angle it’s good because I think if you are in training, it’s very important for you to adopt technology and start e-learning business because if you are a trainer, then you have to reach more than one number of people and technology is the best way.
But sharing financial numbers, that how much you have on, what was your revenue and sometimes I’ve also seen that people sharing their students revenue to encourage others, that if they can achieve it, you can achieve.
But these numbers are incomplete. You see in business you have to understand when you are sharing that you are earning this much in business. That number is absolutely meaningless, unless, and until you don’t tell how much you’re investing to generate that number.
So, it’s not like job.
In job when we own something we don’t invest; we just invest time. Which is very important, which is the most valuable asset you have, but you don’t invest money.
Business Needs (Money) Investment
But if you are in business in any kind of business, what I have learned in my last 10 years of entrepreneurship journey in business, along with time, you have to invest money also.
